Young Westminster Foundation is calling on all of Westminster’s youth organisations to support their young people in sharing their views and experiences of growing up in Westminster in 2023. YWF conducts this project every 3 years, this year they are trialing a short and accessible survey to understand how young people living in Westminster consider their overall wellbeing. The findings of the research will be shared with the Young Westminster community in October 2023 – acting as a tool and call to action for funding and partnership working in response to the issues identified by young people.
The survey should take no more than 5 mins for young people to complete.
Please thank the young people who participate for their time and explain the purpose of the survey and that all findings will remain anonymous. We encourage staff to be on hand during the survey in case young people have questions or conversations emerge from the findings which require additional support.
In recognition of the additional time and capacity it may require to support young people to complete this, all organisations that take part in completing the survey will be automatically included in a prize draw to win £200 in vouchers. Organisations will also have access to their own data sets from the survey to support fundraising bids and programme design. This study will be the first time the Young Westminster community is able to reflect on what has changed for young people since the pandemic and during the cost of living crisis.
We want to hear from as many young people as possible about their experience of growing up in Westminster. If you want to be involved please get in contact with us.
