Register for The Lord Mayor’s Cup World Cup in Westminster
Get the ball rolling with The Lord Mayor of Westminster, Councillor Hamza Taouzzale & Young Westminster Foundation invite you to enter a team for The Lord Mayor’s Cup – World Cup in Westminster fundraiser.
Businesses are invited to join us on the 17th November at The Paddington Recreational Ground to welcome in the World Cup season, in Westminster! This is a fantastic opportunity for businesses to give back to the community and young people in the borough as well as a team building activity!
We welcome players of all abilities and backgrounds. Teams must be made up 12 players maximum (7 a-side) and to ensure the event is as inclusive as possible and reflects workplace diversity we encourage teams of mixed gender! Games will be played in 15 minute rounds.
Water and healthy refreshments will be provided.
The donations received for this tournament will raise money for The Brighter Futures Fund to specifically increase sporting and arts opportunities for young people in Westminster. There will be prizes up for grabs as well as networking opportunities so get your football boots on, you don’t want to miss it!
Businesses who would like to enter a team can do so by making a donation of £500, £800, or £1000
If you are not in a position to enter a team, business partners can use the same link to make a donation to sponsor the event.
The tournament warmly welcomes youth clubs to enter a football team of staff or young people (aged 18+). Youth clubs will not need to make a donation as the costs of participating will be covered from the funds raised.
