Holiday programme for young people this Easter

MASTERING MY FUTURE: Inspiring educators 2-3 Degrees are running a workshop series this Easter for young people looking to kickstart their career. The latest ‘Creating Your Career’ series takes place for 14-25 year olds from 12th until 15th April, and will focus on providing the tools needed to take proactive steps into any career of choice. WESTMINSTER YOUNG PHOTOGRAPHER AWARD: Working with Positive View Foundation, we’re searching for budding young photographers aged 11-15 and 16-25. Photo submissions documenting life in lockdown could be the winners of  some cash prizes:  1st prize £1,000, 2nd prize £500, 3rd prize, £250 in each age group. Entrants must be living in Westminster, or attending school in Westminster. Find out more information and how to apply here.

MULT-SPORT HOLIDAY PROGRAMME: 7 to 12 year olds can have a go at different sports this Easter with Bloomsbury Football, and their jam-packed holiday programme. This includes 40 free places for pupils eligible for Free School Meals and financial assistance places available for all. At Solomon Academy until 15th April. Book a place for a young person here.

NORTH PADDINGTON YOUTH CLUB: For North Paddington young people, the local youth club is organising a range of fun activities and trips across both weeks of the holidays. Download the full programme here. Places are limited, but can be booked by emailing Ronnie on rrenney1@yahoo.co.uk.

FREE FOOTBALL TRIALS: Football mad Pro Touch SA are running free trials and sessions of the holiday. Download the flyer here for more information and details of how to get in touch.

CITY LIONS EASTER PROGRAMME: Join City Lions for a virtual 4-day adventure for 13 to 16 year-olds where they will meet and learn from some of Westminster’s most exciting creatives! Including a cooking and graffiti art session, plus a Q&A with actor Jordan Nash. From 12th to 15th April. Book your place on the programme here.

GREENHOUSE SPORTS HAPPY HOLIDAYS: Enjoy a range of multi-sports session and table tennis at Greenhouse Centre. A lunch box will be provided, with all dietary requirements catered for. Open daily from 9am until 4pm. Email maria.ingles@greenhousesports.org to reserve a spot.
