This summer’s We Are Together campaign for Young Westminster Foundation has picked up the award for ‘Best Collaborative Campaign during Covid 19’ at The Drum Awards for Out Of Home.
In May, during the height of the coronavirus pandemic, an animated artwork created by STIK was unveiled on the Piccadilly Lights, the largest screen in Europe covering 783 squared metres. In an ambitious collaboration with LIVEPOSTER, Ocean Outdoor UK and Total Media, the campaign aimed to raise funds to help young people in Westminster receive the support they needed, in a borough where 1 in 3 young people are growing up in poverty.
The Drum is Europe’s biggest marketing website, and the Out Of Home awards recognise creative excellence and innovation in out of home spaces, with special categories this year for campaigns emerging in response to Covid 19.
Phil Barron, CEO of Young Westminster Foundation said: “We are thrilled to be the recognised by The Drum in this year’s Out Of Home Awards. We are hugely grateful to our partners in STIK, Ocean Outdoor Posterscope, Liveposter and Total Media, that helped bring this project to life for us. In what has been a difficult year, we feel proud to have been able to show our commitment to young people in our borough on a Westminster landmark as iconic as the Piccadilly Lights.
