The Young Westminster Foundation is looking for an intern for two/three days per week for 6 months. We’re looking for someone with youth work experience to support the development of the Young Westminster Foundation. You will be part of an innovative new organisation and make a real difference to young people’s lives as well as gaining valuable skills and experience.
This is a great opportunity to join us during an important year. You will support our Fundraising and Engagement Officer in recruiting young ambassadors, facilitating the young ambassador programme and supporting our upcoming needs analysis into the experiences of young people growing up in Westminster.
This role will suit someone who is keen to develop their skills and knowledge within a start-up environment. You will gain unique exposure to the youth sector within Westminster and pan-London, with the opportunity to network with and learn from a range of stakeholders, whilst positively impacting the lives of young people within the borough.
A varied role, you will be based in our office in Soho. There are flexible working options as well as the opportunity for growth and experience working at various levels in a new charity with a range of stakeholders (from the police to grassroots charities to national corporates and politicians). You will receive a full induction, with ongoing support throughout your internship.
